Post any interviews, pods, pictures or stories here.

The rooks are in the building. Mostly to sign, take a physicals and talk to reporters with a a couple light workouts.

I think he wants to continue on in his career and does not want to give up playing (although I have no idea about that). Did he and Klint have conversations about this? I do not get the warm and fuzzy feeling about him desiring to be a teacher (again I have no idea about that and I am not knocking on him). I am scared that he is going to play longer than any of us expect.
Yeah, none of us knows if/how long Cousins will play...all we can do is wait and see how management handles it.

I don't see that as a bad thing. I know some disagree with that, and I understand it. With both Kubiak and Brady stating they don't want a rookie starting the season, I think Cousins is as close to a lock as you will get for starting the season in this new regime.
To me, it's not necessarily a "bad" thing. It's a pointless thing. I know how bad Cousins is. Just like I knew how bad Geno was. So if I stick to my thinking, that Cousins will last 3 to 4 games, I just don't see the point. Especially since Mendoza will likely outplay him all offseason. I know people are stuck on the Brady/Kubiak comments on not having a rookie starting but I'm focusing on logic and Spytek's comments. That the best guy should/will start week 1.

I agree. I just don't think between Kubiak and Brady that Mendo is going to start day one... even if he should. I guess well see how it plays out. I'll roll with whatever they decide.

Yup, and besides, it's typically the coach who decides who plays/starts/sits, not the GM.

They are protected financially in case of injury so they still participate without more risk than if they'd already signed their contract.
Last year, a top pick in the 2nd round was holding out for a fully guaranteed contract which had never been given to a 2nd rounder before. That held up the entire 2nd round class.

Yep, but nobody missed any offseason time as a result. The players on the margin between fully guaranteed and mostly guaranteed contracts in rd 2 might be the ones most likely to be slow to sign for years as agents try to push the envelope of getting fully guaranteed deals later in the draft order. Stukes is signed already so that isn't an issue for the Raiders this year.

Contract details have not been released. Is it possible they just went fully guaranteed?

Many have differences in opinion which is fine (and actually good) which keeps the board humming. Its all knowing posters like Evil or Dark Douche who were insufferable (good riddance). I am not aware of anyone remotely close to those shit bags.

Where is everyone at with patting the ball before throwing? No big deal? I never even thought about it until the Sanders shit last year.
