Yeah being first in the second is great if there is still a widely sought after QB available, this seems to be more of a thing years ago. Or say a player really slides, in either case you have some real trading power. Does 33 really have that this year? One asked is it worth to trade from 36 to 50 something, I'm going with no.

Not about that though. It's about control. That pick is like gold. The 49ers have been getting blown up with calls from teams looking to move up. Picking 3 spots higher or lower is irrelevant from a player perspective.
