2026 Draft - First Round - Thurs.4/23 - 5/8 pm

Post by RunOverByHubbard »

99% chance the Raiders start things off with doing what we all want them to do. Less than a 1% chance they trade the pick? Yep. There will be some interesting trades in the first round, including a possibility our new management trades up into the first round using the "extra" picks we have this year. But, I am expecting an evening of observing and anticipating rounds 2 & 3 tomorrow night.

Enjoy one of the best sports events of the year -- the NFL draft.

the eagles have been telegraphing aj brown gone for a little while now, no surprise they went and drafted a top wr talent...jalen hurts and aj brown had a falling out that seems irreparable

looks like the patriots get their wr1

I also read something about how it pissed Vrabel off to no end when he was traded. Now he gets back a player he never wanted to see leave.

patriots have a very good team and will address a huge need by adding wr1 aj brown

i think the eagle lost leverage on the trade a while ago when they started adding talent at the position in free agency ...

lol, as noted they aren't entirely accurate. No board will ever be, these are just the one's I found to be, again, pretty good.

Here's a couple of them. I know there are tons on big boards on the net but it's tough for me to take any board seriously if they can't show/prove how accurate they have been throughout the years. The Huddle Report does this very thing which is rates big boards and keeps scores of them all. McShay's board has been the most accurate over the years followed by Robby Esch.

But again and again, it's a rule of thumb if you will. So they had Cooper I believe rated as the 24th best pick in the draft but he was taken 30th? I find it is ridiculous to believe that is where he will land but if he lands within say, 5-10 spots of it either up or down to me at least that is pretty accurate. As draft goes deeper I found throughout the years they become less accurate which would stand to reason.

Drafting a tackle with a bulging disk doesn't seem like a great idea. The Giants pick is one I will be interested in following.

MexicanHulk wrote: Thu Apr 23, 2026 10:36 pm DT is definitely in play for the Bills, unfortunately. At least from what I heard. They were terrible as a team in rush defense. I think 28th out of 32. Also think Cards need a DT. They need OL more but, NT is in play. Lopez is a reliable vet but, only that. They could use an upgrade &, younger player to take over. Bills need WR bad tho. So I'm worried McDonald will be picked. hopefully not both he & Miller tho.
The Cardinals took Walter Nolen in the first round last year. Dtackle out of Mississippi. The Bills 100% I can see going after a Dtackle or receiver. The Bills did go Dline heavy last year, however I don't see that stopping them from taking bigmac

Taking a db in the first two rounds gives me fuckin PTSD as a Raider fan. Such a vast list of busts and mediocre players there. Charles Woodson & Nnamdi Asomugha are the only guys who hit out of probably 12-13 db selections in round 1 & 2. Moerigh imo was solid, but meh overall.

The only way I want a corner in high rounds is if youre playing Al Davis ball. Press man, single high type defense where you ask a lot of the corners.

Man I thought I was alone in that logic. I couldn't agree more!
