2026 Draft - Raiders & all teams (April 23-25)
Obvious Mendoza #1 no consideration of trading that pick.
But who you got picks 2 - 4 thats going to help Mendoza.
#2 Raiders should be able to select WR Chris Bell or WR KC Concepcion with our early 2nd.
#3 I forget who it was, but someone here mentioned that the best pure dominant RT coming out of college could be got in the 3rd. And stated hes played his whole career at RT, and not being moved around the line.
Sounds like solid gets
Id hope the rest of the draft is building the trenches, with maybe 1 DB in there
Who else you like ?

Got a nicely aged bottle of Teeling for tonight. I will take a shot or two to begin the evening and then settle in sipping style to mellow my way to the end of the rounds. If I like who we pick, I will hopefully post a bit during the evening, if not, I will sign off because I will say stupid shit and probably get kicked out. Here is to liking our pick?

I'm kinda lukewarm warm on Simpson. He may turn out to be a big surprise but in his last game vs IU he looked completely lost and overmatched. Not sure if he has what it takes.

Historically guys with less than 20 starts are failures in the NFL.raidersince63 wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 12:22 pm I'm kinda lukewarm warm on Simpson. He may turn out to be a big surprise but in his last game vs IU he looked completely lost and overmatched. Not sure if he has what it takes.

Who knows if McVay sticks around after this season. Does not seem from their followup pressers that they were not on the same page. Simpson was basically out of leftfield, for GM and HC who has been together 9 years to have this type of disconnect. McVay probably would have preferred bringing in a vet when Stafford calls it.

If I remember correctly,Daniel Carlson’s 60 yard field goal against the chiefs as time ran out in the las game of the season, is why we don’t have the first pick in the 2nd tonight

They did it, but they did it in another way. McDonald was there for the taking and they knew there was a chance he could be selected if they moved down. They drafted Stukes who was rated right around that spot in the draft and managed to pick in front of the 4 teams that were awarded compensatory selections and in front of the 5 other teams at the bottom of the 3rd and still keep 2 of the three 4th round selections. I'm going to guess Crawford will be asked to play OLB in the 3-4 alignment. At the beginning of the draft we had needs at QB, OL, WR, S DT and to a lesser degree LB. We have addressed all those needs with the exception of two. Going to be interesting tomorrow as only one team is in front of us.Willmark wrote: Fri Apr 24, 2026 2:33 am Thanks for pointing that out. All those 4ths just aren’t sitting well with me I guess as part of it.
As for our 2nd. I was wondering if we were going into the back end of the 1st. It was open that the Bills were shopping their pick and they did.
I’m expecting a number of trades in from of us in the 2nd.
From what it looks like we’re staying put in the 2nd and maybe that is going to hurt more than the 3rd and 4th rounds.

As far as Simpson there is some logic right now to it. We know next year there is supposed to be this MASSIVE QB class. How it turns out? Who knows. But now the Rams can avoid having to jump up in the draft when they likely aren’t picking in the Top 5 next year.
Simpson fits that offense well and can benefit from sitting a year.
Stafford could also retire at any point.
IMO they made a prudent, forward looking move,

Hoping we take Dontay Corleone & Jonah Coleman today at NT & RB respectively
Corleone probably the best NT left after that we have some good solid guys that’ll fill the role like Keenan & Eastern
Like what we did last night & think the more people watch Stukes, Crawford & Zuhn the more people will start liking what we have done
