2026 Draft - Raiders & all teams (April 23-25)
Obvious Mendoza #1 no consideration of trading that pick.
But who you got picks 2 - 4 thats going to help Mendoza.
#2 Raiders should be able to select WR Chris Bell or WR KC Concepcion with our early 2nd.
#3 I forget who it was, but someone here mentioned that the best pure dominant RT coming out of college could be got in the 3rd. And stated hes played his whole career at RT, and not being moved around the line.
Sounds like solid gets
Id hope the rest of the draft is building the trenches, with maybe 1 DB in there
Who else you like ?

I am not great when it comes to predicting where guys will fall, and so I take the old "best player available" route when answering these types of questions, but it does go deeper than that. Best player available is so subjective so position need does play into it a bit. Mendoza will need a line capable of run blocking and protection. We are going to need to prioritize that in FA and to a degree in the draft. So while I have no idea who will be there when we pick nor do I know who the Raiders scouts are targeting currently, linemen have to be a consideration.
That said, free agency is going to be a consideration before we have a better idea about the draft.

Trying to be realistic about who may be on the board when we have options.
My wish list:
Mendoza QB
Gennings Dunker OL
Isiah World OL
Denzel Boston WR
Hakeem Williams WR
EJ Williams WR (could provide some continuity with Mendoza)
Damon Claibone RB (would compliment Jeanty well)
LaVeon Moss RB (would also complement Jeanty well great outside speed)
Tacario Davis DB (physical corner great wingspan)
Etan Calbert LB (great in pass coverage)

Gennings Dunker has been on my radar for a while now.Toast wrote: Tue Jan 20, 2026 10:09 am Trying to be realistic about who may be on the board when we have options.

Agree with an above post. This discussion will have more meaning after FA. After FA the list of “needs” and “wants” will be more pronounced.

Gotta consider reuniting Mendoza's with his WR team mate Serrat as a possible draft pick...as well as Pat Coogan.

Coogan got pretty exposed in the natty. Not sure he could handle NFL lineman and LB.

In the little bit that I saw of them, I thought Omar Cooper looked like the more dynamic/explosive player than Serrat.raidersince63 wrote: Tue Jan 20, 2026 10:57 am Gotta consider reuniting Mendoza's with his WR team mate Serrat as a possible draft pick...as well as Pat Coogan.

I know there are people who can happily hyper analyze the draft 12 months a year and i won't try to discourage that. Given that our first overall pick is set in stone, I'll focus on the coaching search and then move to the illegal tampering period of FA. Eventually move to on actual FA and then the draft. FA has to start with the oline - not just for pass protection but because we need to be able to run the damn ball.

I believe FA is in front of drafting, have to see who we get. You get solid OL's that changes the draft. You get a WR to replace what we traded, that changes the draft etc.

If we only sign 1 staring Olineman in FA:
1.1 Mendoza, QB, Indiana
2.36 Hunter, IDL, Texas Tech
3.67 Miller, OT, Clemson
4.102 Moten, IDL, Miami
4.117 Rutledge, IOL, GA Tech
4.134 Zuhn, OT, Texas A&M
5.175 Martin, RB, BYU
6.180, Roberts, WR, BYU
6.183, Payton, QB, NDSU
7.219 ??????
If we sign 2 starting Olineman in FA I would change the 3rd pick to a CB, like Neal, Arkansas

Cooper is good too, as is Becker but have not heard of either declaring....hell the whole teams is stacked for that matter. Love Pat Coogan too.Trainnvain wrote: Tue Jan 20, 2026 11:09 am In the little bit that I saw of them, I thought Omar Cooper looked like the more dynamic/explosive player than Serrat.

The best offensive lineman available with our second pick. Tackle or guard, we need to double dip both FA and the draft. Mendoza needs protection when he finally starts.

Two C and G in FA and a T with our second round pick. Protecting Mendoza is imperative. I want at least a top ten offensive line.
