to trade up to 33 you would give away our top 4th and a fifth on the charts but no way teams do that. I would say the best case would be our 2nd and our last 4th.

Looking at the film highlights of Bisontis and Pregnon, I think one is clearly a better prospect (and I know I am working on very little information compared to what scouts do) and it's Pregnon. I don't want to get involved in another Alex Leatherwood situation. He was a decorated lineman for sure, but I remember that a criticism was that he held and frequently. No one could teach him how to be a successful offensive tackle (or guard for that matter) in the NFL. I see Pregnon as ready to go. Bisontis's feet and balance are not elite and his movement in small space is well below Pregnon. Plus Pregnon can be seen adeptly pulling and taking on defenders at the second level. What is not to like with this guy? Put him next to our new center and we might have something there. Next we need a new right OT.

I assume that someone just didn't want to have too many threads where the discussion was all the same. As an alternative to starting a new thread, you could just send a PM to the OP with all the poll selections already typed in and then they can just do an edit of their post with a poll creation and a quick copy paste and it's there. Assuming that they don't think your poll is stupid. I did that with XRF's OP in this case, hopefully he isn't too mad about hijacking his post.

If you just go to your thread and delete your post, it deletes the thread.

The charts says that's a 580 value and 540 value, 40 points being around a top of the round 5th pick

The Jets traded up 3 spots from 33 to 30 and only gave up a 6th.

Patriots traded up from 28 to 31 and gave up a bottom of the 4th round pick.

I think our 5th would do it unless there is competition, then maybe we'd have to give up our bottom of the 4th pick only.

Not sure we can use the chart alone, it does come down to competition as well. The charts are handy tools but they only go for so much.

If no Boston at 36, which I don't think we'll take him there, then maybe Ja'Kobi Lane or Malachi Fields in subsequent rounds. Both are X-type WRs that can be had later on.

As a UVA fan, Malachi Fields was always a disappointment

DT/OL perhaps secondary. Not feeling WR and Boston, we have two second year WR's that are still working there way into the NFL.

I'm still going to favor OL. We need as many swings at getting this right as possible.

There is always value trading for a veteran when you have the picks and cap space. There are some players who can be had. I would love to get Christian Barmore (talk over here on sports radio that he could be moved for a mid round pick). There are others as well.
