2026 Draft - Raiders & all teams (April 23-25)

Unread post by RaiderFan1 »

Obvious Mendoza #1 no consideration of trading that pick.
But who you got picks 2 - 4 thats going to help Mendoza.

#2 Raiders should be able to select WR Chris Bell or WR KC Concepcion with our early 2nd.

#3 I forget who it was, but someone here mentioned that the best pure dominant RT coming out of college could be got in the 3rd. And stated hes played his whole career at RT, and not being moved around the line.

Sounds like solid gets

Id hope the rest of the draft is building the trenches, with maybe 1 DB in there

Who else you like ?

Not from what I saw and have read...he also was an integral part of MF's QB draw near the end of the game.

1- Mendoza
2- Best OL or defensive player available
3- Omar Cooper Jr. if there. Or repeat #2.
4 - Repeat #2 x3

If we're not comfortable enough with the oline to put Mendoza in as week 1 starter then you have to seriously question Spytek. We have the resources to add real talent and already have some guys under contract to fill some spots and provide competition for others. Priority 1 for a GM is the oline to get Jeanty rolling and give Mendoza protection while he learns.

Also hoping The Raiders new Head Coach will bring in a very good O-line coach.

We currently have the 2nd most pick value. That along with our cap room should lead to significantly more talent on the roster in 2026.

I say Sarratt if after the combine he’s worth that high of 2nd pick. Or Gennings Dunker OG and move Johnson back to Center.

One game I know but I wasn’t impressed with Sarratt against Miami at all. Not even a little

I like Sarratt but he did not have a good championship game.

Sarratt in the late 3rd early 4th to me. Watched Indiana a bunch this year and his specialty is the back shoulder throw. I don’t think he’s worth a 2.

The OLinemen we drafted this year, did not get a fair shake. Brennan Carroll pissed all over the OLineman room. Spytek knows that, the lockerroom knows that. I'd just let Parham walk in FA. New system, new scheme, I'd imagine, no reason to keep him, short yardage sucked. I would buy 2 vet pieces, $30M total. I'd kick Glaze inside to Guard. Penciled in right now left to right - Miller-Glaze-JPJ-Rogers-Grant Add the 2 FA vet pieces, Meredith backup, and a development piece.

BoJacksonRules wrote: Tue Jan 20, 2026 1:51 pm If we only sign 1 staring Olineman in FA:
1.1 Mendoza, QB, Indiana
2.36 Hunter, IDL, Texas Tech
3.67 Miller, OT, Clemson
4.102 Moten, IDL, Miami

4.117 Rutledge, IOL, GA Tech
4.134 Zuhn, OT, Texas A&M
5.175 Martin, RB, BYU
6.180, Roberts, WR, BYU
6.183, Payton, QB, NDSU
7.219 ??????

If we sign 2 starting Olineman in FA I would change the 3rd pick to a CB, like Neal, Arkansas
Good list, aside from obvious pick Mendoza, Oline and WR, if we can get Moten in the 4th and keep Maxx, then sign Hendrickson, Mack (yes, bring him home), or Reddick in FA, Dline will be in business again..

I have to fault Spytek for allowing Carrols kid to stay as O-line coach. He should have personally fired him if Carrol was going to make excuses for the glaring issues on our O-line. Our O-line was so badly coached that im not even sure that we can properly evaluate their talent, or Genos for that matter. It didnt help that Chip Kelly is basically incompetent as well, it was like a perfect storm of garbage coaches.
