Raiders@Seattle-1st Preseason Game -Thursday
I'll be there. Anyone else in the PNW going? Looking forward to watching Jeanty get a few carries in the first quarter.
Coach Pete is well liked up here, he should get a nice welcome from the Seahawks faithful.

This ain't the f[raiders_icon]cking 80s. Defending it and making excuses is f[raiders_icon]cking weird.Attyla wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 8:57 am A bit of hubris is not a bad thing. They are buying in and a throwing out a bit of swagger as a result. Maxx is Maxx and he needs to get pumped up to play the game. We have had our share of those guys over the years. In Super Bowl XVIII Alzado looked across at George Starke and said, "I'll let you live, but I will kill everything you love" which by today's standard would be considered ill advised at best and flat out inappropriate at worst. Maxx is just a bit old school even for a younger guy. Geno flipping off the fans was probably a tongue in cheek move in my opinion. It is preseason, the guys are going to be a little loose. It would probably not happen during the regular season. To me it is no a storyline. We do not play them in the regular season. i looked and I may be wrong but we don't play them again until next year at their house. I doubt either of those guys will do that again.

From what I saw, Maxx and Geno were the only two to do it. It's not a huge deal for me, just thought it looked stupid.

the decade is not a factor. It is football, guys do shit during games. Perhaps you need to block me, I trigger your ass way too much. They flipped off fans, who gives a shit. Well, other than you. Did it affect your enjoyment of the game itself? Or are your delicate sensibilities offended?BoKnows81 wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 9:18 am This ain't the fcking 80s. As for it not being the 80's, perhaps we need to get back to that mindset. The touchy feelie times we live in is pretty weak. Sidney Sweeney has good jeans and the world blows up? f[raiders_icon]ck that shit.

It was mostly Raider fans around the entrance and it looked like they were both just kidding around.

I imagine you didn't see the pic of Pete jumping up trying to snatch the sign that the fan was holding about Geno

You may want to have a word with Christian Wilkins about all things related to touchy feelie. Ahem.Attyla wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 9:42 amThe touchy feelie times we live in is pretty weak. Sidney Sweeney has good jeans and the world blows up? fck that shit.
Anyway, they flipped off a crowd. Did getting the bird hurt the crowd's collective pussy? Aw.

agreed, but no on Wilkins. Way too much angst about a prank. Let me know when the league fines them and we can talk, until then it is nothingOpoponax50 wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 10:05 am You may want to have a word with Christian Wilkins about all things related to touchy feelie. Ahem.

To put some context around Geno and Maxx's Raider salute to the disrespectful Seahawks fan, this video shows how it went down:
Did we really think Geno had that in him? LOL. He's a Raider now.

The 1970's & 80's just called to remind you/us to stop being a bitch (1986 - Matt Millen punches Patriots GM after playoff loss )BoKnows81 wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 8:35 am I think it was absolutely PATHETIC to have our "starting QB" flip off the fans of the team he used to play for. Ah, the sign triggered the reaction and Maxx was supporting his guy. Mystery solved. Good for Maxx and good for Carroll supporting their guy.
Totally appropriate response in my most humble opinion. I would have done the same, f[raiders_icon]ck the Seattle clowns for bashing the guy that kept their team relevant the last three years.

Lol cuz you ain't that important that you trigger me. I'm not that dude that gets offended. I am a f[raiders_icon]cking realist and the reality is this team shouldn't be flipping anyone off. So pay the f[raiders_icon]ck attention.Attyla wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 9:42 am the decade is not a factor. It is football, guys do shit during games. If you do the research you'll see it's generational, the millennials and now even more so with Gen Z are getting softer and more feminine. Feminist Simps (thrown in the friend zone) having no sex, and very week.. thats how the globalist want the population so they can have socialism take over and they can secure their Power over everything.... and you will own nothing and like itHellbound wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 9:54 am Lol at people getting offended and worked up over someone flipping someone else off

Oh I trigger you or you would not have had private conversations about me. I would not even think about doing that. And I am paying attention, slick. They were flipping off the fans that draped a sign down the wall insulting the QB so they flipped them off while Carroll tried to pull the sign down. And yea, you got offended realist. The reality is they were taking care of business. And that business was supporting their guy. And I f[raiders_icon]cking LOVE that shit. Let me know when I am going too fast for you.BoKnows81 wrote: Sat Aug 09, 2025 10:45 am Lol cuz you ain't that important that you trigger me. I'm not that dude that gets offended. Raiders are a team that backs each other, that is our tradition and that is what happened. And again, it is a totally Raider reaction and I LOVE that shit.
