As long as the AFC West is full of playoff teams our SOS will always be on the more difficult side.

SoS based on previous year really does not mean a lot to me. Teams change so fast and the actual talent per team based on wins and losses year over year is misleading. We play some teams that improved this off season and we will play teams that regressed. Chiefs in particular are going to be much better next year than their record this last year. Particularly if Mahomes stays on schedule with his recovery.

There are perennial good and bad teams consistently. Coaching plays a huge role and it shows up both ways on the field as they pick up players that fit their scheme and integrate them.

going into the yr we already know most of the top teams, its the surprises that come outta nowhere you gotta watchout for...coaching has a lot to do with it winning and losing, winning teams usually have the same hc's and startin qbs
