Succession Plan

Probably doesn’t need its own thread but I thought it would be Brady. Or is that still Brady?

Brady is not rich enough for the tastes of NFL owners. While I hate the thought of the Raider being in the hands of some investment banker, at least it seems this one is self made and not some nepo baby.

I don't think it's about the tastes of the owners, it's that Brady is not rich enough to actually purchase enough of the team to be a succession plan. This would suggest that Brady's role would still be the operations voice of ownership:

Why do i feel like the NFL owners will vote against it cause they do not want the Raiders having a billionaire owner as it'll put us on another level for thing outwide the cap

Egon Durban got rich by buying big tech companies, making them more valuable, and cashing in when they grew.

He’s not famous like a CEO of a product company, but behind the scenes, he’s one of the people financing and shaping the tech world.

The estimated net worth of Egon Durban is at least $4.6 billion.

I’m all for it. I may shit on Doofus a lot, but I hope this means he’s looking to free his mind from stresses rather than something to do with health. He should be alive to see this franchise return to its rightful seat amongst the best of the NFL.

Would this be like near immediately or a succession plan for down the road?

NFL teams are starting to approach 10 billion for 100% stake, right? Do the math from there.

Mark could buy the whole WNBA.

It's for down the road - It's reported that Davis has no intention of selling. With Davis not having children to leave the franchise to, this is the prudent approach. I think the NFL requires a succession plan.
