First actual report.
I’d be ok with this DC. Players respect him and play hard for him. Plus he went back to Denver after getting fired so he’s not a vindictive crybaby

I'm keeping an open mind on basically every coach. I think interviewing Vance Joseph is a solid move. I even want us to interview Flores, even though the parallels to McDaniels scare the shit out of me.

I think our interview list should include:
Joseph
Flores
Kubiak
Stefanski
Cignetti (don't know his contract situation though)

Flores is the only defensive minded guy I'm really interested in. He's a damn good coach on that side of the ball, and if the rumors are true that he's bringing Daboll with him, I do like Daboll as a playcaller. Joseph is kind of meh for me but it's in division so I appreciate that at the very least we can pick the mind of our opponent.

I think the guy at the top of my list is Joe Brady. He's exactly what we need, and of the young OC's out there will have a gameplan more attuned to what Mendoza does well. Almost as important is how well his offenses run the ball. Jeanty is still a massive investment for this team that we need to recoup on, and I think Brady would do wonders with him.

Cignetti signed an 8 year 93M dollar contract this year.

That would be Vance Joseph who failed miserably in Denver as HC. Great DC if he wants to make a lateral move..Head Coach not so sure I like it--I'd go with Flores in that case. Either way the Offensive Coordinator is the key hire, especially in this cycle. This will be the most important hire in the last 20 years.

At 64 years old, are you walking on a 93M dollar deal? To come to the Raiders?

That's a decision for him, not for the Raiders. IMO it's unlikely that he'll leave there, but that doesn't mean you don't reach out to him. Personally I don't love the idea of a 64 year old guy...... but as I said before, I am trying to keep an open mind. Interviewing these guys would be interesting and informative, even if you go in a different direction.

Yep, that is why I asked you. It is his decision whether to interview for this screwed up team knowing there is a good chance you are gone after one to two years. So it is 8 years and 93M bucks or a couple years at 20ish mil. So I asked are you walking on that deal to go to this mess? Me personally, I am staying at Indiana, where I just got Mendoza's replacement and where his kid brother is also waiting in the wings.

My fear with college guys is how they'll interact with pros and if their leadership abilties and motivational methods translate. We've seen some of the greats fail on this front.

His QB’s were Keenum & Trevor Simeon while he’s facing Rivers & Mahomes/Smith as KC/SD was still strong yet Flores gets a pass cuz he had 1st round QB. Not a Tua guy but he’s no the only one who had an issue

There are reports that Flores wants to leave Minnesota even if he doesn't get a HC job - there aren't any details, but it sounds like there's something wrong with some key relationships there. I guess if you interview him for HC, then he'd also be a possibility as a DC. Assuming he doesn't sue you for not hiring him as HC.
