Pickett to start Sunday?
You think Picket is going to blow our chances for the 1st overall pick?
Yes, Kenny Pickett is expected to start at quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders in their upcoming Week 15 game against the Philadelphia Eagles, stepping in for the injured starter Geno Smith after showing promise when he filled in during Week 14. This move comes after Pickett, acquired earlier in the season, generated excitement for his performance in limited action, prompting discussion among fans about him taking over as the full-time starter for the rest of the season.

That's not all. Kolton Miller might play.
Hopefully the Eagles are locked in.

He can't be worse than Smith. It may have been against a prevent defense but he led two back to back scoring drives against the Broncos while Smith is lucky to put two scoring drives together in a full game.

Eagles hitting a field goal to win the game would be fine with me.
I would be ok if Kenny lights it up these last few games and we win them all if it means we have found our QB of the future. Go Kenny go. Barring that, good competitive losses is the hope.

Pickett has never impressed me at all. I can hope that changes but I tend to doubt it.haji81872 wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 8:34 am Eagles hitting a field goal to win the game would be fine with me.

This is a get right game for Philly. They are going to demolish us. We will also lose to the Texans. I am worried about the Giants and Chiefs the last two weeks and screwing up our pick there.

We've seen recent career turn arounds in Darnold and Mayfield with a new change of scenery. Maybe, Pickett can do the same. He'll definitely be trying to sling it and resurrect his career as this may be his last chance.Attyla wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 8:59 am Pickett has never impressed me at all. little bit of difference. Darnold was a third overall pick. Mayfield went number one. Kenny was a 20th overall. And while Kenny was the first QB taken, this draft was epically bad for QBs. The expectation was extremely low.STHfrontrow wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 9:39 am We've seen recent career turn arounds in Darnold and Mayfield with a new change of scenery. He'll benefit from not having a lot of film that can be analyzed. Opposing DCs can review his work with Pittsburgh but that would be of limited help.
I don't think it'll be enough to beat the Eagles on the road though. The week following he'll get destroyed.

That's what has me worried. He just might be better and give us a better chance to win. Nevertheless, the Eagles are 8-5 and have a lot to play for. Hopefully, they put together a better effort this week as they have been stumbling a bit.heavyD wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 6:06 am He can't be worse than Smith.
