1985-The Fish knock off Da Bears on MNF.
Honestly, Marino deserves a ring for this one.
Buddy Ryan and his vaunted 46 defense had no answer for Dan's quick release. I remember Dan Marino's debut in 1983 against us on MNF when Shula pulled David Woodly in the second half. You could tell then he was going to be special and we saw him the following year where he shredded our defense for 470 yards.
We got out of the Orange Bowl with the win but I remember the praise Alzado gave him after the game. Mike Haynes baited him and had 99 yard pick 6 which was probably the difference in that game.
Ron Wolf always referred to Don Mosebar as Dan Mosebar because we passed Marino up to take him in the 1983 draft.
