YES! FINALLY!

Hopefully this puts Thorton back in the rotation.

Back on topic: A 4th rounder for a WR that gets no separation is a finesse. The Jags saw him hold on to that pass while getting hit sticked and fell in love.

Also, something I noticed that others will probably disagree on:

A lot of Jeanty runs would have gone to the house if Meyers held his block. Another reason why I'm glad he's gone.

GREAT TRADE. The Jags suck and will be a mid round pick. I was expecting a 4th. WELL DONE!

Meyers will count $4.3M against the cap next year.

Pretty good value for an upcoming FA that wanted out and everyone knew it.

Pretty decent return for a guy that wasn’t going to be a Raider next season. Hopefully they’ll distribute some of his targets amongst the rookie WR’s.

Well said, Layne.

Meyers was a consummate teammate. He worked hard and earned a new deal. We chose not to extend him. He understandably decided to want out.

Strictly business.

Not sure where Meyers fits into the Jag's plans. Thomas, Washington, plus Hunter when healthy. Oh well, not a Raider problem.

Have you seen the injuries in this league? Attrition is a real issue. More depth never hurts.

4 & 6th....not bad considering he's a fa at the end of the year. If we open up the checkbook in free agency, the comp pick would've gotten lower & lower

Factoring in this trade and projected comp picks, we are looking at 3 4th rounders, 2 5ths and 2 6th

Or did we trade our original 5th?

Hunter a rookie is out, Thomas a second year guy is possibly out, Washington a rookie. They could use a character guy who can play and that's what they got.

We did way better than I thought we woud.

Depth is never a bad thing. Just curious about his reps.

2 decent picks for half a season. Nice trade. Currently the Jags draft 19th. May they lose more games.
