Chip Kelly
Chip Kelly can eat a bag of dicks. Hard to believe he's the highest paid OC in the game.
Play calling and design has been absolutely horrendous.
Geno's picks were the primary reason for the loss yesterday, but a close second was Kelly's shitty play calling.
Those runs right up the middle out of shotgun formation into 8 man fronts are just atrocious. Seriously, it's unbearable to watch.
Doomed to failure, but it's the same shit over and over.
I thought Getsy was bad.....

Chip failed in the NFL a decade ago.
He ran back to college and was pedestrian at UCLA. He escaped to Ohio State, where he coached a loaded squad against overmatched opponents for 80-90% of his games.
This outcome was the inevitable conclusion.

Disagree. He is more like Gruden. Good playdesigner, sometimes horrible excecution/coaching.The Real CK wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 5:02 am Chip failed in the NFL a decade ago.

Chip is a good OC, but he needs a line to run his offense. His play design is solid and he calls a good game. But Geno, man he needs to figure out his shit.andreas9109 wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 7:04 am Disagree. He is more like Gruden. Good playdesigner, sometimes horrible excecution/coaching.

The play calling was fine. No OC can call enough good plays to overcome a 3 interception performance which result in not just 13 points for the other team, but also completely nullified our first possession in the first half and our first possession of the second half.
If those picks don't happen and if we get just one field goal out of those 3 lost possessions, we win that game by 13+ and it's never close.
Everyone came through yesterday: the defense, the o-line, Jeanty, and our WRs did enough to make up for the complete loss of Mayer and practical loss of Bowers. Can't pin this one on Chip.

What he needs to figure out is not throwing it to the guise in the opposing jerseys. But he hasn’t cracked that code just yet.Attyla wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 7:06 am Chip is a good OC, but he needs a line to run his offense. His play design is solid and he calls a good game. All Chip Kelly does is call the plays to use; the fault is the QB who threw three interceptions; possibly chance that Geno Smith is still learning the system and he not there yet….
Raiders offensive line was doing better yesterday for like the first time this year; so maybe things will get better
