So Brady possibly jumped in & said don’t sign Darnold

Yet he didn’t jump in & say don’t trade for Geno

What does that tell us

Good. Not super pumped about Geno but would much rather have him under center than Darnold

Darnold was exposed in the playoff game. In addition, I think weather played a part in his production. Now he gets outdoor Seattle for 8-9 games. Geno's ability to manage the pocket is a big difference, he's able to make 2-3-4 reads. Darnold, similar to Carr, conditions have to be perfect for that 1st read, other wise the internal clock is already saying "KILL, KILL, KILL."

What does that tell us[/quote] It tells us he made a player personnel decision for the team based on his in-depth knowledge of the position.

I'm so glad we didn't get Darnold. I don't care who decided it was a great idea

I think Geno is likely the better QB by a clear margin, especially when things get hectic. We'll see if the season proves that.

One of those QBs has had one good season, and the other has been pretty good when he starts. I'll take the known commodity that has a relationship with our coach.

I would take Geno over Darnold given the chemistry he had with Carrol.
