Him stating a reason to get early parole was because he wanted to take care of his fiancé and child probably isn’t gonna sit too well with the judge considering he just took someone else’s child.

3 years isn’t enough to set an example for this type of behavior. Young, wild kids need to see real life consequences for their reckless behaviors.

not close to being enough, im all for getting 2nd chances but when you take 2 lives in the manner this happened (burned alive) that deserves at least 10-12 yrs before i even think about 2nd chances

I stand by what I said. A pet is more than just an animal and the examples you used are bred to be used as food. The amount of difference between the two is huge. There are pet owners that value their pets above many people. Myself would be included in that category.

The wife and I fall into that category as do some of our friends and we would and have done anything for dogs. We will continue to do so also. We certainly don't deserve the love and loyalty that they stow upon us regardless of the situation

Taking all emotions out of it, the recidivism rate for violent criminals is insane and they let them out early more than once. The entire system is flawed.

Having said that, again taking emotion out of it, Ruggs was given a sentence and he is serving it. If the system allows an early release, that is then system and not his fault. Being a felon he loses some rights but I don’t think being banned from the NFL is one of them. Of course Roger and the NFL may have their own say on that.

I try to think my after-life into existence and one part is all the dogs I've raised to see them on the other side and it will be glorious! We'll basically live a 50 first dates/ground hogs day together forever.
