I don’t typically like late flyers on a Qb either, and I’m gonna get roasted, but I would on Taylen Green this year with the thought of him replacing AOC on the cheap and more upside.
I’m talking real late.

I don't like the comparison. Murray was way overrated here. He doesn't run as strong as people thought. Didn't break many tackles. He went down easier than his size would suggest. I like Washington much more.

Can't believe Nuss is still there. Nuss, Payton, Aguilar would be great picks for teams rn.

If the coaching staff has zero confidence in AOC, I could see us drafting a developmental type in the 7th if there's someone they really like.

I'm not a Charbonnet fan lol. Walker I like but, Jeanty is way better
Agree with this.

And Charbonnet not only had 900 scrimmage yards but 12 TDs in Kubiaks offense. And that dude can't run a 4.33 like Washington. Kubiak is going to go nuts with another weapon like that.

RunOverByHubbard wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 10:21 am Pro Comparison: Latavius Murray
Summary
Mike Washington Jr. is a bigger running back, which can make it more difficult for him to sink and change directions, but he contributes on all three downs. He has the size to be a feature back in the NFL and the burst to go the distance once he hits daylight.
About
2025: 167 carries, 1,070 yards, 8 TD
Career: Led team in rushing at Arkansas (2025), New Mexico State (2024), Buffalo (2022)
Strengths
Good top-end speed and builds it quickly.
Does a good job pressing the gap and breaking defenders down in space before making his cut.
Good vision and size to force third-level defenders into business decisions.
Weaknesses
Seven fumbles over the past two seasons.
Not as physically imposing as his size would suggest.
Modest pass-catching production.
Combine Data
40-yard dash: 4.33 seconds
Vertical jump: 39 inches
Broad jump: 10 feet, 8 inches
Are we gonna owe Mike Washington Jr. an apology?

....I don't like the comparison either, and hope it isn't accurate in the end, but I don't remember Murray being overrated as a raider, as much as I remember him being a disappointment who always ran too upright, was stiff, and as you said, didn't break tackles. or,more 'ran like jane', so to speak.....

For a few years, Amazon's Thursday Night Football had an alternate audio stream where two British soccer announcers (Derek Rae and Tommy Smyth) would call the game. They were pretty good, too.

We are not recreating Seattle's system. But we are creating Kubiak's vision for what he wanted in Seattle. Washington is a piece we needed

Washington needs to cut down on the fumbles but he's a great compliment to Jeanty. Reminds me of Chris Carson.

I'm sure Washington can block better than Jeanty on passing downs too.

Oh, he was most definitely overrated here. A few really were over the top. Most thought he was a good starter. I had him as a below avg overall RB. His rushing, contact balance, vision were all below avg. His pass blocking was very good &, pass catching was ok. & I agree with what you said about him.

So yeah, the Murray comparison is a terrible one in my opinion
