Great pick at this point. Worth the risk. If he has to sit the year due to surgery but, comes back healthy next season, WELL WORTH THE PICK!! That's not debatable. If he doesn't work out, it was a day 3 three pick. Not a big deal at all

Guess I'll temper the excitement a bit, hope he can get healthy. An ACL injury cost him the entire 2025 season and he opted to enter the 2026 NFL Draft. Additional tests on his knee revealed that there is a chance he would need another surgery on the knee and there is a good enough chance that the surgery would not be successful. And if it isn't, that would end his career.

I don't claim to know enough about the medical, but I love the pick because the Raiders can take a chance on a guy who may have a redshirt rookie season, because our competitive window likely doesn't start until 2027.

Backyard guy, he would have been a second rounder without the injury. We need to take it slow with the guychucker wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 10:21 am I don't claim to know enough about the medical, but I love the pick because the Raiders can take a chance on a guy who may have a redshirt rookie season, because our competitive window likely doesn't start until 2027.

I don't know what "backyard guy" means.Attyla wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 10:23 am Backyard guy, he would have been a second rounder without the injury. We need to take it slow with the guy
By many accounts he would have been a top 10 pick without the injury.
Obviously the injury is a major concern, or he wouldn't have dropped to the 4th. I'm happy with us taking the chance.

He played in my backyard. He is a TN product. Bone plug is serious shit, but he should recover. I think he might be the steal of the draft if he recoverschucker wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 10:29 am I don't know what "backyard guy" means.

Oh no. He would have been top 10. Probably #1 CB in this draft. Let's hope he can recover.Attyla wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 10:23 am Backyard guy, he would have been a second rounder without the injury. We need to take it slow with the guy

love this pick, even if he sits a bit to recover he is a 1st rd talent and a stud in coverage when healthy...this is pick is gonna pay off for us, our secondary addressed big timeMexicanHulk wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 9:41 am Great pick at this point. he had a couple rough games prior to the injury, I am not sure top 10 was where he was trending, but he has the talent. The bone plug is a risk, but here is hopingMexicanHulk wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 10:57 am Oh no. He would have been top 10. Probably #1 CB in this draft. Let's hope he can recover.
