Rice pulled hills every off season to stay at the top of his game. When he became a Raider, he invited Brown to try it. It almost killed him

Linderbaum will add 300 yards to his 975 from last year without trying.

Yeah his story isn't over. He played behind a bad joke last year.NoThanksSir wrote: Wed Apr 08, 2026 2:45 pm I'm still convinced we have something special with this guy.

He kinda reminds me of Walter Payton running up the hill:

It’s not just the hill, Jeanty’s balance is one of the best in the league. To have your pelvis/hips off-platform with all that power/load is f’n incredible.
If we get that RT position squared Jeanty could easily see Top 3 RB this coming year. Hell, no reason he can’t be the best with Kubiak’s scheme.
Jeanty out here making sure the RB2 stays RB2 regardless of who it is.

It's his yards after contact that impresses me the most'Rabidraider wrote: Wed Apr 08, 2026 3:40 pm Linderbaum will add 300 yards to his 975 from last year without trying.

Absolutely. He posted the toughest 1,000 (975) yard rushing season I have ever seen from a RB.NoThanksSir wrote: Wed Apr 08, 2026 2:45 pm I'm still convinced we have something special with this guy.

I watched his college highlights before and after we drafted him and it stuck with me. He is an unusually good talent. Even more than the scheme - our line was epically bad last season. To get what we should out of Jeanty and to protect our pending investment in a QB, improving the line is so far and away the #1 priority this off season it’s ridiculous.

It will be interesting to see what they do with the oline. It's possible that they really believe there's more potential there with Glaze than fans think there is. It's also possible they think Grant has real potential to be a contributor at RT this year. It's also possible that they are just acting like the oline isn't an issue so they can improve it without other teams knowing what a priority it is. I think the blocking scheme will be really good for Jeanty, but they still have to learn to execute it and that's going to take time.
