I don't hate the guy, I just know his limitations are why he is buried in the depth chart. Hell, right now he is our 4th string QB and we only have two on the roster.

Nice guy who can throw a decent ball when not under pressure. Never in the headlines for stupid stuff. Seems to be a good locker room guy. No longer on a cheap contract and can be easily be replaced. Highly doubtful he has anything in trade value.
Unfortunately, I can literally say the same thing about my 26 year old neighbor who used to mow my lawn just a few years back. Dependable and courteous but you couldn’t count on him making any difficult decisions. He’s now mowing my other neighbors lawn, much like Aiden will likely be on another team’s practice squad soon.

O'Connell had a great "underdog" story about him, but he's lacking all the tools necessary to make it in the NFL. If you look into his school years you'll find a lot of his numbers were from his great connection with WR Charlie Jones whom he played with through high school and Purdue.

I don't think he's a franchise QB, but he's been dealt as bad of a hand as any QB I've ever seen. He's played in a different system every year since he was drafted and labored under shit coaching the entire time.
Given some consistency I think he'd be an ideal backup. He isn't going to take you to the playoffs by himself, but if the starter goes down, he might be able to go .500.
I wish him luck wherever he goes.
