Some reports saying it is prescription meds and not alcohol but nothing confirmed as of yet

His breath test was 0.0 of alcohol, but he refused urine/blood testing.

He reportedly has had problems with Ambien in the past.

EV1 on TV is assuming its opioid abuse. The copper may have sunk that case, or at least have given the defense some reasonable doubt. He reported that his pupils were dilated and he was profusely sweating. Opioid narcotics cause miosis which is the opposite of pupillary dilation. And the defense can also argue that profuse sweating is a symptom of opioid withdrawal, implying that he was not acutely intoxicated by opioids.

In Florida, refusing a DUI chemical test (breath, blood, or urine) does trigger an automatic driver’s license suspension under the state’s “implied consent” law—but there are some important details:

🚫 Automatic suspension for refusal
First refusal:
→ 1-year license suspension
Second or subsequent refusal:
→ 18-month suspension
→ Also considered a misdemeanor criminal offense
⚖️ What “implied consent” means

By driving in Florida, you automatically agree to submit to lawful chemical testing if an officer suspects DUI. Refusing violates this agreement.

Dude just needs to say f[raiders_icon]ck it to golf in general and focus on himself. Seems to me he might have some severe underlying mental health issues he never got addressed.

Or he is just a dumbass.

Dude has had his time in the sun....time for not only the PGA, but he himself to move on.

He is nothing more than a sideshow at this point.

That will not tank the investigation. He refused lawful testing which will solidify any charges. Dilation and sweating is not uncommon after trauma and that accident could have caused that. Also fear can cause that and if he knew he was on a high level of prescription drugs that very well could have been his mindset. More than anything, the general knowledge of his opioid usage will play into this. But he is a celebrity with a bottomless wallet so he will get a slap on the wrist and a fine.

All Im saying is that the physical signs the copper documented are not consistent with someone intoxicated by opioids. That is going to create doubt in a juror's mind if the prosecution contends he was high on opioids.

Typically narcs cause pinpoint pupils, skins may or may not be clammy, resp rate may be slower than normal. But the most common sign of narcs are the pinpoint pupils

Dilated pupils in the sunlight is not common unless it’s from a recent eye exam or severe head injury or use of speed, meth, coke or shrooms.

I’m sure there are tons of other factors but the above are common ones

Tiger has money, doctors and attorneys so things will go fine

Until they don’t
