No clue where to post some stuff not necessarily team related but could be? Feel free to delete if this belongs somewhere else.
Maxx and Parsons would be nasty. I probably wouldn’t pay the price though.

The Seattle Seahawks and JSN have agreed to a four-year, $168.6 million contract extension, with $120 million guaranteed, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday, per the wideout's agent

I’d have traded him instead of giving him that contract. Someone would give two firsts for sure. Probably get more than just that.Rabidraider wrote: Mon Mar 23, 2026 10:34 am Insane:

So the NFL already has something like "WAR"?...or are they still working on it?

jsn was wr1 last yr and dude is still a youngster, you dont trade talent like that away plus in a few yrs his deal will become a bargainMexicanHulk wrote: Mon Mar 23, 2026 10:56 am I’d have traded him instead of giving him that contract. That would of been a horrible, fireable offense to trade him. You usually come here with your A game but you're completely wrong here.MexicanHulk wrote: Mon Mar 23, 2026 10:56 am I’d have traded him instead of giving him that contract. JSN is a dog and earned every penny. He made Darnold look a lot better than he actually is. Most importantly, he's young.

That two headed running attack I thought was desirable.mstrbass2000 wrote: Mon Mar 23, 2026 10:51 am they have charbs whom was more effective and more productive then walker until he blew up his knee this season and he is on a rookie deal still
I guess they feel RB's are more plug and play in that system.

Chiefs re-signed TE Travis Kelce to a three-year, $54.735 million contract.
It was reported weeks ago that Kelce was signing a one-year, $12 million contract with the Chiefs. Now, the 36-year-old vet, who was reportedly mulling retirement, is back on a three-year deal that will pay out $12 million plus $3 million in incentives in his first year. It’s safe to say this deal came out of nowhere, but it all but guarantees that Kelce will be a Chief for life as long as he desires to keep playing. Kelce caught 76 passes for 851 yards and five touchdowns last season and continues to be one of the most productive tight ends in the league despite his age.
wow talk about over pay

I think setting the market on a player of JSN's caliber is well worth any perceived risk. Dude is a perennial 100 catch player. Much better value than what else the market had to offer, Alec Pierce struggling to scratch 40 receptions is getting near 29 million a year.
