Thats good! He was my 2nd favorite signing after Linderbaum. The only two im meh on are Quay and Kwity though maybe Kwity fits well alongside Maxx and Koonce and maybe Quay can take a next step.

Here's hoping Dean stays healthy! I have a feeling Walker will be one of the best signings. Intuition I guess you could say. Quity had 4 sacks last year, but the two years prior he had at least 8 sacks both years. Koonce has a full year after ACL surgery. Should bounce back nicely this year. Great signings

CBS sports ran story 10 best bargain signings in free agency. And our new linebacker made the list. A couple of us here have been yelling for signing new linebackers or drafting them for a few years now. From story:
Dean is a really, really good player ... when he's healthy. And the only reason he was available for just $12 million per year is because of the health part of the equation. If the Raiders get the type of play out of Dean that he showcased at the height of his powers, though, they will be very happy that they brought him in alongside former college teammate Quay Walker, who got a similar contract.

So we can expect what, 8 games out of him? I mean I hope not, but..RunOverByHubbard wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2026 9:42 am CBS sports Ranch story 10 best bargain signings in free agency. 21 missed games in 3 years. Its a huge concern. But his play when on the field is def not a concern. He's a beast.raider_kin wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2026 11:25 am So we can expect what, 8 games out of him? I mean I hope not, but..

Nakobe Dean's career has been marked by significant lower-body injuries, most notably a Lisfranc foot injury in 2023 and a torn patellar tendon in early 2025. Following his most recent season with the Philadelphia Eagles, he reportedly agreed to a three-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders in March 2026.

Professional Injury History (NFL)
Hamstring Strain (December 2025): Dean exited a Week 16 game against the Commanders and missed the final two regular-season games (Weeks 17 and 18). He returned to play in the Eagles' lone postseason game that year.
Torn Patellar Tendon (January 2025): Sustained in the left knee during a Wild Card playoff win over the Green Bay Packers. This injury required surgery and sidelined him for the remainder of the playoffs, though the Eagles went on to win Super Bowl LIX.
PUP List Stint (August – October 2025): Due to the lengthy recovery from his patellar tendon surgery, Dean began the 2025 season on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, missing the first five games before being activated for Week 6.
Lisfranc Injury (September & November 2023):
Initial: Suffered a foot injury in Week 1, leading to a four-week stint on Injured Reserve (IR).
Re-aggravation: After returning for four games, he suffered a second Lisfranc sprain in November, requiring surgery and ending his 2023 season after only five games played.
Pectoral Injury (April 2022):
Entered the NFL with a pectoral injury that contributed to his slide to the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
