Exactly. When I hear people saying he’s solid? What? Dude was getting pushed into the backfield nearly every play.RI RAIDER wrote: Thu Mar 12, 2026 5:04 am I am going to miss watching him get pushed back or not touching anyone with that dumb look he had.

That could be tied to coaching at the position getting worse year over year as the coaching staffs changed. I don’t think any offensive linemen thrived under Pete’s kid. There’s mounting evidence that the Raiders have done a poor job developing young players going back to Gruden as several ex-Raiders drafted players have gone on to be solid players on other teams. Several teams will be looking at Tyreek Wilson in free agency next offseason for this reason.mstrbass2000 wrote: Thu Mar 12, 2026 8:00 am dude regressed bit time multiple yrs...good luck to him ...bye

Sometimes he even missed his block completely and they went unblocked all the way to our QB for a brutal sack.Willmark wrote: Thu Mar 12, 2026 7:25 am Exactly. When I hear people saying he’s solid? What? Dude was getting pushed into the backfield nearly every play.

PFF loved him last year and a lot of people think he would be a solid guard. He may be. However, I would also ask myself, if this teams line was so terrible, and he was a bright spot, why are they not bring them back?

He was the center for that 63 point belt to ass game against the Chargers. For that I am grateful at least

Right on. I never believed his stated weight. It did not pass the eye test. But whether 295 lbs or 330 lbs, he is too easily bull-rushed and too often not doing the right thing. I would be shocked if he blossoms in NY and ends up deserving that much moola.BoJacksonRules wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 7:48 pm He’ll probably fail his Physical when he weighs-in at 285 and not 330.

With Meredith at guard. And Thayer Munford at tackle. That game should have resulted in seeing that combination at least one more time. Nope. You can't possibly justify keeping HOF Andre James out of the lineup.Goodtimes333 wrote: Thu Mar 12, 2026 11:34 am He was the center for that 63 point belt to ass game against the Chargers. And you are right to blame him.chucker wrote: Thu Mar 12, 2026 11:05 am Parham's relatively solid PFF grades never made sense to me. I don't understand what they were seeing that was apparently the opposite of what I was seeing. I blame Collinsworth.
