Man, so many variables at play here and what I expect will be a strong push in FA shoring up the trenches but quick mock I could get behind;
1 - Mendoza
14 - Tate
36 - Pregnon
67 - Orange

Do trade down if Loane is there at 14?

Fano if he falls, Proctor is an option if Fano is not there. Not as high on Proctor but he was great with the run and solid with the pass. I would keep him at guard.

I would love to go all in on offense (OL, WR) and compete right away.

Speculation on our draft strategy/selections is fine I suppose, but realistically, it will be predicated on what we first do with the FA market.
If our new leadership is as good as we hope, they will first spend wisely on "talented and intelligent" FAs which in turn, will give us a better idea of how and who we should draft.

In the first two rounds, good teams take the best player in the draft. The later rounds theoretically you do that as well, but need does play into it as well. I know best player is subjective and need does crop its head into it but ideally your free agent moves should not affect just grabbing talent.raidersince63 wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 4:30 am Speculation on our draft strategy/selections is fine I suppose, but realistically, it will be predicated on what we first do with the FA market.

The majority of mocks have him making it to 14 and below, but he's getting lots of attention so you never know.Rick In Bakersfield wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 9:13 pm Do you guys think Vega will be there at 14?

I want Ioane but I have to admit I'd be intrigued if Tate is there at 14.

I don't. I see a team trading up if he starts sliding or any team from Cleveland down to the Rams as a realistic pick. Dude's a beast & I know the whole "you don't draft guards high" mantra but he's an exception like Nelson for the Colts wasRick In Bakersfield wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 9:13 pm Do you guys think Vega will be there at 14?

Yep. I just saw a mock that had him going to Miami at 11.Hellbound wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 5:29 am I don't. I mean Im definitely running the card down myself if he's there, I just don't think he makes it to 14. All of those teams ahead of us have legit oline needs
Also, pending on who's available, I wouldn't be too upset with a trade down of a handful of spots if we can get an extra second or third and/or maybe 2-3 next year too. Also depending on what we do in fa also

Olaivavega Ioane,G, Penn State
Jermod McCoy, CB, Tenn
Trade downs:
Peter Woods DL, Clemson
Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia
I don’t see the need to go WR at #14 unless he is a REALLY exceptional player. There are a couple of very good LBs that could be there at 14 that would be good too. The 2026 draft is the most important draft facing the Raiders in a long, long time.
