What’s Cookin' on Gameday 2025
In the vein of what's cooking with Scotman and Attyla.
As in years past, the 2025 What’s Cookin for Gameday thread. Post each week what you’re having on Gameday, drinks, appetizers etc,
Last year’s turned up some good stuff, so keep these in mind:
* Each week post what you are having for food, aka main dish.
* Appetizers?
* Desert?
* Each week what are you drinking?
* Include what you're having if you're tailgating.
* If you are ordering, what are you ordering?
* Brunch, you name it.

Changed my mind. I'm going to open a gormet box of brocoly and cheese Rice-a-Roni and see if I can follow the directions.

,,,I was very surprised, and now have tried to leave a half bowl or so at the end of a homemade batch a few times, as I do like them. ...I just make a 3 egg omelet, which I always melt the cheese and cook the top of it in the broiler right from the stove top burner, and then when it comes out, and mid dismount on the plate, a small cup of micro heated leftover chili poured in before the fold, and small drizzle of the chili left in the cup used to heat it,over the top, and with a sprinkle of a little extra slivers of the grated taco cheese on top after the fold for presentation, and to give the illusion that I knew what I was doing....

We are headed to a party. The host has wings and chili on hand. I suspect there will be some bread dish as well as some sides. I tend to eat less as a general rule, but will probably splurge some tonight. Hell, last time we went there they had pizza and a massive chip dip thing as well. Teetotalers so we respect that and I stick to water.

Bought a Lebanese cookbook trying a few different recipes. Making Batara Harra (Lebanese potatoes), Baba Ghanousch (roasted eggplant), Kibbeh (basically meatballs) and a bunch of other stuff.
Trying to decide whether I want to knock the dust off of the Johnie Walker or stick with an IPA.
If my cooking doesn't pass muster I have the pizzeria on speed dial. Wife is sticking with her Kentucky Mules (that didn't sound right, lol), you guys know what I mean...
Just some family coming over, nothing too big. Enjoy the game fellas.

Home made pizza with home made pizza crust. (NY style) Uncured pepperoni, sweet Italian sausage, green peppers, and Vidalia onions...and of course, real whole milk mozzarella.

Harder to find ginger beer theses days, but Smart and Final and Trader Joe's both usually stock it. (I'm in So Cal)
