The NFL Conference Champs Game Day Thread (AKA The Raiders Coach Game)
Here it is fellas, the final game before the big game. Who you got, what is ideal for the Raiders and are there free agents playing that you like for us next year. Popcorn at the ready, beer in your hand. I have some Blue Moon on hand. What are you making to enjoy the game? I am making a simple chicken and rice. Weather here is horrible so I Amazon Fresh'd my menu for the week so that I did not have to rush to the store. Ah the joy of winter.
I guess I will go with:
Pats vs Rams for the final game. But anyone other than the Broncos is absolutely fine. I like Stafford, I don't mind Maye. Vrabel getting a crack at another ring after TN dumped him would be justice in my mind for that bitch Amy Adams. And yea, everyone I know around here hates that....female body part....lol

Right now its a balmy 15 here, wont get much higher than that. Snow is been on the ground for quite a bit, more coming.
As far as the storm, brand new massive snowblower, use it 5 times- wont start. Needless to say worse time for it. Fortunately I have the blow on the tractor.
As far as the game? Part of me want to see Stidham do well to show up the naysayers. But in reality dont want either team to win. NFC? take it or leave it as I'm not rooting for either team there.

You’re probably right but I hope we’ve shown him enough interest so he knows we are serious. That’s the guy I hope we get at this point.chucker wrote: Sun Jan 25, 2026 7:16 am I doubt there is an offer out there already - they haven't had an in person interview with Kubiak yet. I wouldn't be surprised if Spytek was in Seattle today so they can interview Kubiak in person tomorrow - since Brady is already there.

Denver is going to eat shit today with a hard loss. Weather today is run the rock territory. The Pats are good at running the ball and stopping the run. The Broncos aren't good at running the ball. Their defensive weakness is stopping the run, although not a glaring weakness. The Bills turned the ball over 5 times and still barely lost in OT. Broncos are going downpfish57 wrote: Sun Jan 25, 2026 9:40 am I have a sick feeling Payton & the Donkeys are going to pull one out of their ass!!!

Congrats on the retirement, now maybe you can lighten up a little! LOL!Grumpy13 wrote: Sun Jan 25, 2026 7:27 am Would like to see Pats and Rams come away victorious today. Snow and sleet predicted for my part of Jersey. Just retired Jan. 1 from 38 years plowing snow for the town I live in. Gonna sit back and enjoy a fire in the wood burning stove, a few (many) cocktails and a Cottage ham with cabbage and potatoes done corned beef style. Enjoy the games and be safe.

I actually like Stidham, but it feels like he's getting talked up too much in the media right now. Just feels like the kind of scenario where he ends up falling flat on his face. I hope so...... sorry Stiddy.

Someone (don't know who) just dropped some "warriors, come out to play" crap, complete with bottles, on his walk through the tunnel towards the locker room. Gotta find out who that was.
