Next up……….Jacksonville Jags 11/2
Plenty of threads discussing blowing everything up and venting after Sundays disaster. As I type this we have 13 days to get that out of our system before we play our next game. Raiders are physically and mentally limping right now but hopefully Bowers and others will be healed and rested for Jax. Jax is coming off a bye week as well so both teams will be rested and presumably prepared. Discuss

Curious if Baltimore will lose draft picks over this whole Lamar Jackson debacle too. Sounds like the league is looking at significant punishment.RickRyb wrote: Mon Oct 27, 2025 7:30 am Baltimore will definitely move on from this list. The other teams have a good chance of staying right where they are. Miami could start winning since the coach's job is on the line. I'm not sure if the Giants can make much noise without Skattebo. I don't think The Raiders will crack top 5.

We'll just have to wait and see. I don't think Baltimore gained any significant advantage from the snafu. Any punishment will be more about sending a message to the other teams.BoKnows81 wrote: Mon Oct 27, 2025 7:36 am Curious if Baltimore will lose draft picks over this whole Lamar Jackson debacle too. Also, New Orleans, Jets and Miami will all be looking at drafting a QB. I could see New Orleans trading out if they don't think any of the 2026 QBs are really better then Rattler and Slough, though I'm not sure any of the payers available in the 2026 draft at any position is a true enough #1 overall for a team to trade into the #1 slot.RickRyb wrote: Mon Oct 27, 2025 7:30 am Baltimore will definitely move on from this list. I'll be at the game — it’s my birthday week, and I usually end up in Vegas around this time every year. I was at the Bears game too.
Not really sure what to expect… or if I’m supposed to cheer for them to play great and still lose, or just go all in for the win. Honestly, it probably doesn’t even matter — we could finish with two wins and still not crack the top five, because like it or not, there are a few teams out there even more pitiful than the Raiders right now.

Like they always say, it's really hard to lose in this league.

Out of those squads, Miami, Baltimore should be nowhere near what they are doing.heavyD wrote: Tue Oct 28, 2025 12:56 pm It’s mind boggling that 7 teams have somehow been worse than the Raiders this season.
Expected, New Orleans, Jets, Titans, Giants
Titans have a tough schedule to start, 2 winnable games. The Giants were not going to do anything this year, but Dart and Cam, have surprised and at least got them a pair of W's.
I see a couple more W's for us against the Giants and Browns.
The Saints, Jets, Titans and Giants should have the top spots locked up, given the rest of the sked. Titans may surprise with a W or 2.
I think we'll be 6th, but outside of the Top 5.

With just 2 wins seven games into the season we should be 1-3 in terms of projected draft position but somehow we're not even top 5. We'll have to go 2-15 to even have a shot at the top three.
I can never cheer for us to lose, but dammit, it wouldn't be all bad.
