Who said anything about good? Even average or serviceable would be an upgrade over Cappa or Parham.

Let me get my crystal ball...

We see teams get creative and pull unexpected trades out of nowhere every year. You said you were sure the team is well aware of the O line situation. I would expect them to address it then.

Of course they get creative. You are taking it as a fact that someone stated what positions they are looking for. Im sure the team announced what positions they are looking for. You are running out of things to get angry about.

It would normally be a disgruntled vet looking for a new contract, kind of like Meyers, but an O-linemen instead.

No. My response was based on the article posted. Nobody is angry but obviously this clueless staff gets the benefit of the doubt for you. Not surprised.

Although he has had injury issues in the past i’d see what the Browns want for Teven Jenkins he’s backup for them right now but he be a starting LG for us & when the guy has been healthy he has played well

I get what he is saying about needing OL but i’d also say that we should be scouring teams to see if we can unearth some talents

We need help at QB & OL the Browns need help at WR so i’d throw this out there

Browns get - Meyers + a day 3 pick
Raiders gets - Jenkins + Sanders

Take a shot maybe it works & maybe it doesn’t it could enables us to draft OL like Francis Mauigoa or Spencer Fano

Meyer is a good wide receiver; and he be the guy to resign in the offseason on a fair deal…and he will get an overpaid deal in the offseason from another team, so I think he pretty much gone in offseason……

And if we trade him, I think the raiders will get hit with a 7 million cap hit…..May as well keep him on the team and let him play his contract out….

I'm not here for a philosophy class. Forget the sentence structure. We're talking football, specifically about whether receivers can actually get open.
The whole context we were operating under was that Meyers needs a perfect, tight-window throw just to even get a target in the first place.
You're pretending that established context doesn't exist just to make my argument sound weak. That's not the debate. It’s you reaching and reaching HARD I might add.

If I was Jakobi I would want out and enjoy a new contract with a new team.

Jakobi currently has a QB who is not good.

f[raiders_icon]cking morons should have traded him well before this. His value is tanking each and every week. I think we would be hard pressed to get a 5th. I like Meyers and hopes he gets traded. He has not played with a QB since coming here.
