The Patriots are the reason he asked for a trade so I'm assuming he'll go back to them.

That's a great question. I think I would still do it as there is little hope for even making the playoffs, let alone going deep if we did somehow pull off a miracle. Get what you can for him.RickRyb wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 12:44 pm Do you still make the trade if The Raiders win the next two (Kansas City & Jacksonville) and are 4-4 at the trade deadline?

Plus Josh McDaniels really likes Jocoby and he plays hard for him as well, its a good fit really. I wish him the best of luck, he has always been a class act.mranquales wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 7:00 pm The Patriots are the reason he asked for a trade so I'm assuming he'll go back to them.

It would depend on who we signBruce666 wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 2:40 pm Wouldn’t there be a comp pick if he played the season out and left?

Who said that? I think the consensus was that the 2nd round pick should of been an O lineman. Are you making stuff up again?CWood24 wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 9:10 pm So all of a sudden everyone is in on drafting Meyers replacement, i thought being proactive wasn’t a good thing

If every throw to the WR is a dangerous throw, then that means the WR isn’t goodDanKD wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 1:12 pm Tucker is now the better receiver IMO. Meyers doesnt create much separation and Geno isnt good enough to fit it in those tight windows. Meyers needs someone who can get him the ball in those tight spaces because he does have great hands.
I can’t see us extending him for what he’s asking. He isn’t a difference maker. Just a role player if you ask me.

A win against the chiefs changes thisDr Death wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 2:54 pm We have Bech and Thornton... might as well baptize them in the fire and see what comes of it. It isn't like we have anything to lose.
So I wouldn’t give up on the season this quickly.

I've seen some awful takes here but this one may take the cake. Please elaborate on how a terrible throw means the WR isn't good. Devante Adams had plenty of terrible throws come his way here. Is he a bad WR?NoClapsPlease wrote: Thu Oct 16, 2025 4:39 am If every throw to the WR is a dangerous throw, then that means the WR isn’t good

Meyers and a 7th round pick for a 4th?
Meyers and a 5th round pick for a 3rd?
Trade him after the KC game so Bech has the bye week to prepare.

NO f[raiders_icon]cking way would I ever draft a WR this high (unless you are a good team and a potential great WR is the final piece you need). I still go by QB followed by DT (the 2 toughest positions to fill). After that, its edge and then OT.

I’m not going to answer a question for a statement that never happened. Read again, slowly, then delete your post.
