They led to a playoff appearance. The free agent signings they made the last year of Mayock were all smart moves. Then again, you can credit Gus Bradley for some of those.

Ruggs was on his way to being a superstar. Mayock screwed up with Arnette but he wanted that other DE instead of Ferrell.

We need to hire cockblockers to prevent Al’s “son” from breeding. The only way the Raiders ever win again is if the “team” goes to a non-Davis. I recommend Peter Carroll for the job during the day and Gyno Smith for the job during the night.

I think it was Al's intention for Amy Trask to have more control moving forward. I never even knew what Mark Davis looked like until Al passed. You see Jerry Jone's sons have an important roles in the management of the team. That was never the case with Mark when Al was still alive.

It's no small irony that Mark pushed Amy Trask out the door once Al passed. I applaud Mark for getting a stadium but he made a mistake leaving California in my opinion.

He fired a head coach with a winning record because of his infatuation with the Gruden myth.

Given the gross incompetence Mark has demonstrated I now understand why Al retained absolute control until his dying day despite how bad things became from 2003-2011.

The team that kicked our ass is a prime example of the importance of a good organizational culture, they were amongst the slums of the league when Dan the Fan owned them.
