Raiders vs Washington,Who was surprised? Postgame thread

Post by RaiderandBulldog »

I don’t think anyone who has watched this team the past 20 plus years is shocked by the outcome.

Backup qb against the Raiders means an instant loss.

Well if it weren’t similar problems to the first 2 weeks you’d like to chalk it up to scheduling. That may have exaggerated the issues but we some the same stuff with the added effect of not being able to stop the run.

Glad Tre Tucker had a career day.

Geno looked like Bryce Young when it mattered.

Pete Carrol is reminding me of Mike Wise on the sideline: confused.

I dont even know where our team should begin to fix itself. O-line? Secondary? QB? RB's? D-line?

Cleveland, like us, occasionally gives the fans some hope only to smash it into oblivion

This had to be the most pathetic game I've seen in a long time. They ran all over our defense and special teams. Our O-line sucks the biggest moose yet. I think it's time we made some changes starting with Parham. BENCH HIM!!! GLAZE TOO!! Why wasn't Powers-Johnson playing today?
Might as well give the rookies Rogers and Grant some playing time.

Looks like all the good feelings after game one are gone. Really outside of one half. We have not looked good this season. Still a lot of season left and the Chargers and Redskins had extra time to prep against the Raiders

1 I won’t kill Geno because no qb would have succeeded with how the O line played today. In the next offseason we must use some early picks on it.

2 Good for Tucker to have the kind of day that he did.

3 Rome wasn’t build in a day but you want to see some signs of improvement week to week. Against two playoff type teams. The coaching staff looked outmatched. More than once the cameras showed Pete looking befuddled. Not a good look.

4 Easily the worst defensive perforce in a but we all know Mariota would have a field day because that’s what Back up QBs do against the Raiders.

5 I would get rid of Kelly now if I could along with Pete’s kid,

If they send out the same starting 5 Olineman next week, in the same positions, this coaching staff is clueless

Now that it's established that the Raiders can't stop the run when we KNOW it's coming, I think we're in for a long season. Patrick Graham is garbage, and the Raiders will likely have a top 10 pick. Asinine not to put 9 in the box when you know the other side has a backup playing QB.

Our special team coaches are idiots, half of our personnel on ST are fringe starters. I think I saw Maxx out there one time.

Why would you start the season with the same OL that was ranked bottom last year? AND play them out of position?

Geno has zero mobility. Half of the sacks we give up are because he just sits there and lets the D have at him.

Tre Tucker needs to get the ball more. He's by far our best WR and every time I watch film, he beats his man 95% of the time.

Our offense hasn't been explosive since O'Connell was QB.

Why is JPJ not playing? Does anyone know?

He starts and plays the first game Oline looks ok and Raiders win. He's taken out of lineup and the Raiders play on line turns to shit and 2 terrible games in a row.
