NFL Still Screwing the Raiders

When the schedule came out I pointed out this very thing along with other questionable dates. Every season I go through the schedule week by week and post after the schedule is released and give my impression on it.

Yes, this schedule stinks. However, without going all the way back, as memory serves, the last 4-5 years the way they have scheduled the games for us was very favorable. You can't win em' all. I know this doesn't make it right and it may not make you feel better but another schedule that caught my eye this year are the browns.

At Patriots

They could be 0-6 going into there game against the Dolphins. With games still to play...

Yeah paranoia runs rampant with some. Huge advantage getting an east coast game out of the way first. Plus the weather is much better early than late. Then an extra days rest for our home opener in prime time. Short rest for Washington is the only down side but again early is better weather wise.Then the Bears at home
4 beatable teams to start our season under a new regime with favorable weather conditions. They are really out to get us.
Not saying we win them all but it's a nice start to the season schedule wise

The amount of handwringing and "their out to get us" mentality is staggering. Every year they find some new shit to point to to prove the league hates a team that has gone to the playoffs exactly two times in over two decades.

They are not out to get us, we are doing just fine in that category on our own.

I don’t look very closely at the schedule and I’m not going to now, but I wonder if you look closely that there is a time the schedule favors us, as in we play against teams two weeks in a row with little time to prepare for us.

We already know we have little rest time this year. There was a metric posted when the season came out. We generally have less rest than our opponents.

The NFL extended college Pryor's suspension into the NFL before the Raiders drafted him. It was an agreement made between Pryor and the NFL to allow him to enter the supplemental draft. The Raiders drafted a player who they already knew had a suspension looming so I guess the Raiders are biased against the Raiders? This only seems like "something" if you don't know those facts.
