there is a difference between having a right and being qualified. He proved he was unqualified repeatedly at multiple levels of football.

yea, he got a gig with some sports company but it is not uncommon for teams to bring in guys on a short consulting gig, contract work or just as guests of the team. As for wearing the gear, that is absolutely common.

I don’t know what he is doing there but the chiefs might be offering him a job; like maybe as linebacker coach or something like that; I know AP still supports the raiders and if he was not working on Sunday he might be watching the raiders like with the rest of us….

When AP became HC of the raiders; I thought he could do a John Madden and turn this team around….he did not do that but injuries and free agency really hurt his chances….

You know if Koonce and Wilkins in 2024 were healthy ; also Crosby was not 100 percent, might have been a different story for AP

AP’s previous HC opportunity came with HS powerhouse Long Beach Poly, at one point that school had the most NFL alumni in the country (maybe they still do). Poly had made the playoffs for 36 consecutive years until missing the playoffs under AP.

I think the John Madden comparisons are about when I started burying my head in the sand last year. Can't even be mad. It really puts into perspective what Raider fans have been put through that they thought Antonio Pierce was qualified for the job.

the similarities between AP and Madden really were just that a position coach became a HC without ever being a coordinator. I pointed that out since it just so rarely happens. But that is where it ends. Madden was a student of the game, Pierce was just a loudmouthed motherf[raiders_icon]cker who bought into his own hype machine and Dufus was too stupid to ask questions to find out if the lump of cells between his ears actually worked.
