So, there was no agreed upon restructure. The Raiders unilaterally voided the guaranteed 35 million for cause on Jun 4. So, for all intents and purposes he was cut on Jun 4. Why was the cut not announced for another 50 days? Are they required to hold up the announcement while the 50 day non-injury grievance clock runs? If thats the case, then the



weird weird incident is a red herring that had no bearing on the Raider's decision, unless it happened prior to Jun 4. The 50 day gap makes it seem as though there were two separate things happening -- voiding the guarantee for the injury rehab sitch and then cutting him for the weird incident.

As I stated several posts ago, we don't know what we don't know. The response to you was an outline of the facts we do know from the reliable, credible reporters who have published info online or in print. I was speaking to your specific question using the facts that have been thus far shared for publication. We can speculate all we want but we don't know what we don't know.

There are some reports saying we will never know the whole truth because it is too awful for public consumption. So speculate away. Bottom line, CW is no longer on the Raiders roster.

I actually agree with Florio on this one. The initial reports by rumor mill accounts was that the situation was too weird to report on. The forehead kiss feels like reputable reporters dipping their toes into the situation without divulging details that either can't be confirmed, or legally can't be reported on yet.

I haven't seen it mentioned by any media people, but in the back of my mind, I wonder if Raiders management is protecting a victim. Total speculation on my part, but there is a reason the truth, the whole truth, has not yet been revealed. In addition, CW's agent has, to my knowledge, so far been silent. Agents usually jump out ahead of a story and work hard for the next contract.

Seems like Chandler Jones, AB levels of craziness. AB always had a few loose screws but Jones and Wilkins at least in their previous stops were professional in their locker rooms but as soon as they put on the silver & black they go all unhinged.

I agree, protecting the victim or honestly, I could see them protecting Wilkins as well. If a player is lodging complaints about Wilkins, it might be something the NFLPA tries to squash behind closed doors rather than in court.

There were signs with Wilkins. We all ignored them because of his elite play on the field and them not apparently crossing the line yet. But if we were honest, we should have been concerned about a player known for fingering buttholes and grabbing dicks on the field.
