The thing that bugs me is the team should have been doing a better job of assessing his injuries status before now. He shouldnt be showing up in a walking boot right before the beginning of training camp talking about a possible surgery. If he needs another surgery, get it done now, it should have been done months ago. It could be our players status slipped through the cracks due to changes in management, but damn they need to get it together.

Slow down and ask yourself what is fact and what is speculation - neither the Raiders nor Wilkins have made any concrete declarations about his condition.

Davis said Johnson wasn't offered a contract, there was no talk of Coen other than some random report that surfaced a few days ago. Davis and/or Spytek did say they were interested in another hc that had already signed elsewhere. That would've been the time frame that Vrabel was hired in NE. 2nd choice e behind Vrabel? Maybe ...as for the Johnson & Coen rumors, I'll take the words straight from Davis and Spytek over some random rumor
