Hes rolling the dice that he may get an out of court settlement just to avoid a trial. It's a tactic thats been used for decades against big pockets that simply pay a little to stay out of court even knowing they will win the case.
The court system has some flaws but frivolous lawsuits and class action lawsuits need to stop
