Raiders 2025 QB

Might as well start a thread looking at options for QB next year. Have that be the Draft or a vet signing.

I think we end up in that 9-8 or 8-9 range again and end up missing out on a top 10 pick.
No way we are in contention for a #1 pick. This team will be picking in the mid-teens.
With that said, we will need a qb, but will have to pay through the nose to get one
Of course we will we'll be the perennial 13the or so pick just far enough our not to get a top prospect QB and that's not just next year that might be sitting in the middle for awhile, our D will see to that and win us a couple games the O doesn't. Just a guess.

Cam Ward is a phenomenal athlete and a good teammate. His tendency to turn the ball over at the worse possible time was infuriating to watch and despite his athleticism he always struggled in a cluttered pocket.

He had nice stats at WSU but couldn't put it all together for whatever reason.

I was really hoping Micheal Penix Jr.
I actually think AO12 can be a decent QB in this league. But..... how do we keep him upright with this O-line and his "slow footedness"?
Q: What's the difference between 4 or 5 sacks in a game?

A: None.

AOC taking 5 sacks is no different than "mobile" Minshew taking 4 sacks. The difference that actually matters, is that AOC would lead us to a win because he is the better QB. Period.

With the exception of the panthers and giants who really have nothing going on on either side of the ball… we may actually be that bad.

The QB issue is only amplified by the fact that we’ve got no ground game and a shaky o-line.

As long as we continue to have trash for coaches it won’t matter who the Qb is.

I would love to see this offensive roster play one game under the coaching staff of the “insert a decent teams staff”.

Aidan beat Patrick Mahomes on Christmas Day.

Pretty much making him the most accomplished QB on this roster.

APs game management left something to be desired but at least on offence… it feels like we’re fighting with one hand tied because we just don’t have a QB that can actually keep an offence moving.

Doesn’t it make you sick to watch real offenses move up and down the field? Mayer, Bower, Meyer, Adams and Tucker, not many teams have that much talent on O and we do nothing with it.
We are so predictable and f[raiders_icon]cking bland.

Are you suggesting Aidan lost that football game?
That would be an odd take.

Please advise w/o name calling me or others on the forum.
Thanks.

Those numbers are your franchise savior?

I personally wanted AOC over Minshew prior to the season beginning but, AOC isn't the reason we won that Christmas day game against the Chiefs. No way. It was definitely the defense. He did just enough to not lose the game.
