No scabs is a good thing.

The accountability aspect is what I am interested in. Not that I personally think they are terrible, but a watchdog mentality can only be a good thing

The replacement refs were rough but generally they threw fewer flags and let the lads play. It was refreshing in many ways

The worst thing about the replacement refs was the constant discussion of the fact that they were replacements. Every blown call was highlighted way more than with regular refs - we can't pretend that the regulars didn't blow calls too.

I prefer football when the discussion and analysis centers on football.
