Our secondary definitely needed more ballhawks. Hopefully, he can fill that role.

Love this player. I wanted McD or Miller but, Stukes was one of my favs. He will not disappoint.

Just realized that Stukes will be 25 in September.

Maybe they expect him to be good right away.

That was my issue with the pick. DB's age like potato salad on a sunny day.

....I don't know, if the guy is as ready to play in a position of need, and his skills are as advertised, were we signing that 25 year old as a free agent, say, for a 4-5 year deal, and for a lot more money in that scenario, we'd all be thrilled to be bringing him aboard

But that free agent would already have NFL experience. We don't know if this pick will need a couple of years to get to NFL level.

The kid will probably be fine, its just that DB's age out after 30.

I am not concerned one bit about his age. Looks like a solid pick.

...none of it means anything anyway, until we see him on the field. ...if nothing else, it looks like the powers that be think he is close to ready to make a significant contribution.....

Right...even if he hits a wall at 30, we have 5 yrs until then to figure something out. It's not like this is going to be the only safety we draft or sign in that time span
