Trade Maxx. Yes or No?
First off, Mods, if this can be squeezed into the “Maxx Crosby” thread somehow, please do.
I’m genuinely curious. Based on posts it seems about 50/50, but we have plenty who visit and never say a word. Maybe they’ll vote though.
As to the details of a trade. Who knows? Maxx for draft picks. Maxx for a player and draft picks. Let’s just say it’s logically fair and equal, cause emotionally fair may not exist for some.

I really have to see what the raiders can get for him….
If a team actually offer two first round picks for him or a Ist and 2nd…I am all for it….but if we trade him for 3rd round pick then I am not for it….
Think it more to do with what the raiders get for him…

This is what I think they should do. Make an unbelievable price tag 3 1sts and say we don't want to trade him but if you want him this is the cost. And leave it there. No one is touching it and move on from the rumors.SuperRaider wrote: Tue Feb 10, 2026 4:40 am I really have to see what the raiders can get for him….

I agree with Super Raider, it depends on what we can get in a trade. We also need to consider the draft slot of the team we may trade with. If their draft slot is late round we would need to squeeze more compensation from them player/picks. Understand that I am not saying we only get one first round pick in a trade but the first pick of whatever trade we might make needs to be a quality slot. Top 15?

Yes I'd personally like to trade him, but I'm not optimistic a deal gets done.
It's been mentioned his recovery might prolong when a trade could happen. I think the longer that is, the more likely Maxx cools off and realize he was being immature, and would rather keep his family and legacy in Vegas. There's also the fact that back to back seasons he's needed maintenance surgery on that knee, could be a chronic issue in this last stage of his career. I'm not sure the Raiders perceived value for Maxx matches what another org would want to risk on him. The more time Kubiak spends around him I think both sides will figure there's more to gain by putting the past behind us, but again, me personally I would take a 1st and another top 100 selection for him.

Dead curious why Maxx would have to cool off? What has he done to show he’s heated? He was on the sideline for the final game. Last few interviews he’s been at the Raider facility wearing full Raider gear. Right now there is nothing concrete but a whole lotta hear say. I feel like Maxx is being blamed for nothing at this point.NoThanksSir wrote: Tue Feb 10, 2026 5:19 am Yes I'd personally like to trade him, but I'm not optimistic a deal gets done.

Doing reverse psychology I bet 80k fake Silver dollars we don't trade him.
He's great, but I think the team needs to rebuild but only if we get two 1s or 1 and 2 would I do it.
I wouldn't miss his drama.

I think Maxx has cooled off already, but he did leave the facility, and he wasn't on the sideline the week that he crashed out.Raidernation1979 wrote: Tue Feb 10, 2026 5:30 am Dead curious why Maxx would have to cool off? Him being in the facility now means zero to me. Because Maxx's work ethic has never been in question, and he's gonna get his work in this time of year like he always does, no matter what team he plays for. it's whether he is a bad day away from forcing his way off the team because he has played that game in the media for a few years now.
I'm not really putting stock in Russini, Glazer, or Lacanfora's articles. Maxx needs to be blamed for his actions and his own words, and while you may have found his stunt the week he was shut down not a big deal I wasn't a fan. I wasn't a fan of him forcing the situation with Pierce. Or suggesting he would entertain a trade after not retaining Bisaccia. Not the type of guy I want to have in the room during a rebuild.

While I may not always agree with how other people handle things “passionate player upset team sidelines him for his own good” doesn’t necessarily make me mad at him. If he had no contact from then on I’d get it. Leaving Being disappointed when you’re the type of player he is. Eh. It happens. He was with the team the following week. To me that nixes the previous week as a little tantrum he was over.NoThanksSir wrote: Tue Feb 10, 2026 5:39 am I think Maxx has cooled off already, but he did leave the facility, and he wasn't on the sideline the week that he crashed out.

I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t want Maxx in the locker room. He’s never proven to be a cancer. Work ethic and attitude off the charts. That’s the culture you want instilled.

I can't realistically answer. It depends. Is it possible that there's an offer worth it? Maybe. Is he going to play his ass off if he stays? Definitely. What the new coaching staff wants needs to play a big part in it too.

I'll go with a NO unless it's a deal that involves 2 high first rounders.

Hopefully, both parties (Max and the FO) keep things under wraps. If that is the direction they decide to go, it would help Max get to go to a team he desires while the Raiders can get a better return.

Yea we just don't agree on it, and that's fine. I don't think he's a net positive to the locker room when he has an outburst every time a coaching decision doesn't go his way. I think Maxx's locker room legacy is smoaking stoagies. I actually think he's overrated by the fanbase at this point. All I want to do is win and I suspect a lot of the pushback against trading Maxx is an emotional one. If you can get good comp for him and turn this franchise around I think you do itRaidernation1979 wrote: Tue Feb 10, 2026 6:05 am While I may not always agree with how other people handle things “passionate player upset team sidelines him for his own good” doesn’t necessarily make me mad at him.
