Looks like some are blaming offense on Pete not Chip

https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-decisi ... te-carroll

"When Las Vegas Raiders head coach Pete Carroll made the decision after last week's debacle of a loss to the Cleveland Browns to fire offensive coordinator Chip Kelly, it did more than shine the spotlight on himself for the rest of the 2025 season and into the offseason.
It also highlighted the lack of cohesion in the coaching offices, while explaining one of the reasons why the Raiders have struggled amid a 2-9 season in Carroll's first year.
By any account, Kelly's 11-game tenure that ended with a brutal home loss to Cleveland was a disaster, as the NFL's highest-paid coordinator ran one of the league's worst offenses.
But based on the views of those who studied the offense and based on those who game-planned against it this season, they don't believe Kelly was running his own offense at all. It was unlike anything Kelly previously had run.
In fact, defensive coordinators likened the Raiders offense this season more to Shane Waldron's offense with the Seahawks in 2023, Carroll's last year with Seattle. Kelly's trademark creative runs out of shotgun had been dramatically limited. Instead, the blend of Seattle and Las Vegas schemes tilted far more toward the under-center zone scheme Carroll favors.
One previous opponent even had their scout team prepare cards based on Seattle plays of the past under Carroll, sources say."" Theres more in the article see Link above

f[raiders_icon]ck Pete Carroll...he's approaching Jafatass and Randy Moss level of disdain for me. He's completely and utterly inept and clueless. What a 🤡....this madness has to stop sooner than later.

I would assume that Kelly had complete control of the offense...
If that was not he case, then WTF are you paying him that kind of money for?
What a complete and total clusterfuck this team has become.

Hmmm not sure what to make of that, because Chip was trying to run plays out of the shotgun and it was a dismal failure. I thought Jeanty had more success when the plays were under center.

Chip Kelly was just the scapegoat. The proof of it will be when the rookies still won't get on the field.

That says it all right there with that quote. Pete has his fingers in everything and doesn't have past staff that where able to keep him in check. No wonder they ran him out of Seattle.

Gruden - Ran off by the NFL who's who.
McDaniels - a prick the players didn't like.
Pierce - A deer in the headlights.
Carroll - A guy who should've stayed retired.

These past 3 coaching hires have been a dumpster fire especially Carroll and McDaniels. It's not just the losing but the losing brings focus to the total shit show behind the scenes. Carroll tenure reminds me of a company I used to work for who had a separate office of only women with about 10 positions. I'd hear some rumor and just be flabbergasted that it would be true and over time I just learned that having 10 women in a small office like that was bound to cause drama that you couldn't imagine.

I doubt he would've hired Pete's kid as line coach so Im not sure he had complete control of the offense

According to sources, Chip Kelly expressed "frustration" with how "heavy-handed" Las Vegas Raiders HC Pete Carroll was with the offense:

"Kelly, a 62-year-old who has run his own offense countless times, also was miffed at how heavy-handed Carroll was with what he wanted to run, and how he wanted it run. Sources say Kelly expressed frustration about the setup."
