From what I have read Mrs Davis was a very kind and gracious person. When she suffered a heart attack during the 1979 season, Al stayed by her side while she was in a coma for three weeks.

Pretty amazing story of dedication and resilience. Al was very devoted to Carolee, as he liked to call her.

Yep, Al bought all the doctors/nurses new televisons. Al told her that if she married him it would all be about football. Amazin

I know zero about Carol but RIP. Condolences to Mark and any other family. Losing the last of your parents is a hit regardless how old you may be.
