I have been a follower of this team since the 1960s. Watched some amazing teams. Those Monday nights where we were unbeatable. Amazing teams, and amazing wins.

We haven’t done shit for over 20 years. This is the biggest joke in the f[raiders_icon]cking league. I lived in Boston for 18 years through the Patriots being basically Super Bowl contenders every year and everyone asked me why don’t just change teams I said some Raiders fan we don’t change teams.

Well, I’m not changing teams, but I see no point in watching this shit anymore, does this ruin the day for you already? The text are coming in from my friends same thing every week every month every year

Meh, I stopped letting the team mess with my emotions a few years ago, I couldnt care less watching them go out and embarrass themselves every week. I still watch but with absolutely no emotion or expectation, I dont make plans around the games or cancel plans based on the game days and times. So am I "done"? No, but do I care anymore? Not really. I would say I still get excited when they do something fun but.... i really cant think of anything lol. I am sure if they did manage to win a bunch of games ide be there cheering but I expect nothing anymore.

Today the Raiders lost a long time fan. I never met him, so I really don't care. He needed one last burst of attention so he wrote this really long and self serving post on a forum with a bunch of other people who never met him, most who really don't care. I kind of view this like the SNL skit about Debbie Downer. She was really negative about life in general but it was actually pretty funny. Or maybe it is like the turkey that gets pardoned every Thanksgiving, nobody really cares but it is kind of sad that a poor person will not enjoy a Thanksgiving turkey so that the president can get a "look at me" moment. But mostly I really don't care, but it gives me an opportunity to have a little fun. The End.
