What’s Cookin' on Gameday 2025
In the vein of what's cooking with Scotman and Attyla.
As in years past, the 2025 What’s Cookin for Gameday thread. Post each week what you’re having on Gameday, drinks, appetizers etc,
Last year’s turned up some good stuff, so keep these in mind:
* Each week post what you are having for food, aka main dish.
* Appetizers?
* Desert?
* Each week what are you drinking?
* Include what you're having if you're tailgating.
* If you are ordering, what are you ordering?
* Brunch, you name it.

I stay mostly with the "Q" on opening day, fewer dishes to wash later.
Rib eyes, asparagus on the grill; spaghetti squash and roast taters.
Pacifico and Tequila Anejo.

You guys know how to do it. We’re having Don Tortaco do the cooking today, picking it up for the extended family on my way to their house. Plenty of tortas, burritos and carne asada fries
Don’t judge me too harshly.

Week 1 for us is two crockpots of my recipe for beef stew. Put in the pots at 9 AM. Recipe is easy as I just add to it as a go; slowly adding my flour to thicken it as it gets closer to time to serve. Rolls are ready for the oven.
Scotch (Glen Levit) and wine on tap for Mrs and Ms Willmark. Willmark Jr might be going with the apple cider from one of the best local farms in the state - fresh pressed, none of that pasteurization crap from the grocery store.
Mrs Willmark made homemade brownies.
Appetizers is Mexican dip and queso with chips.

My first chicken wing cook.
Spray a little duck fat on them and sprinkle with simple Lowrys seasoning. Cook on the Yoder at 400 turning occasionally. Sprinkle a little Kosmos buffalo wing dust at the end and enjoy.
No drinking for me today as I’m driving g up to Lake Tahoe after the game to help a buddy pull his boat off the water and winterize his cabin.
Go Raiders!!!!!

Keeping it simple this week. Roast Chicken with herbs, hasselback potatoes, steamed broccoli and carrots. Dessert is fresh fruit.
A dry weekend for me so nothing more exciting than water.
I'm prepping for the opening game of my basketball season and need to at least start the season in a relatively healthy place.
