Cautiously optimistic.

Every fibre of my being is telling me from Brady, Spytek, Carroll and all the other changes that have been made this year, a tectonic shift north for this franchise.

Optimistic.

If Jeanty can get close to 1500 yards rushing, we will make the playoffs.

Please advise.[/quote]I'll wait and see. Optimistic sounds cool..... but I've seen too much optimism go to shit over the last 25 years. With this franchise, cynical is the best policy until proven otherwise.

Optimistic I think we’ll be between 8-9 wins

I don't really have an opinion yet. The coaching staff seems to be much better, and we're better at two key positions - QB and RB. At the same time, we lost a lot on defense that we don't have obvious replacements for. We will (hopefully) be getting two key starters back this year in Wilkins and Koonce which will offset some of those losses, and hopefully some of our late round draft choices will step up and fill some of those holes.

I love that we have a real coaching staff.

I like that we have a real starting QB

I think the offense could be special.

We have a great kicking game.

My main concern is the D line health. And the defensive back field.

I like the schedule.

I see a 9-8 record.

One pundit stated about the AFC West. No team will win over 12 and no team will lose more than 8.

I am optimistic Coach Pete will field a competitive team. I think the defense can keep us in games and it will be up to the offense to keep the defenses hands off of their hips in fourth quarter. This team has the talent to turn things around. The OL needs to step it up.

In the 45 years I have rooted for this team I have always been optimistic going into the season.

I'm wildly optimistic for the future of this franchise. Again, the true strength of this team is in the leadership and management, from the GM down to the lowest scout. How quickly this translates to onfield success remains to be seen.

Sorry, but I think we are waiting for next (2026) year again, given how little was done to help the defense.

I'll say 6-11. Just enough to keep us out of the QB sweepstakes, but not enough for a playoff berth.

For the first time in ages it does seem like we’re heading in the right direction. Big improvements in coaching to scouting to GM if you ask me. I’m not sure if the results will show this year but I think we’ve found the right people to get this ship heading in the right direction.

I think 8-9 wins. We are still a year off. But I think this year was mostly about building culture and depth which we have been lacking both for a long time

I have always been optimistic going into a season.
