I would go Pregnon if hes there.
I understand the need for defense but it doesn't out wiegh protecting the franchise QB.

As for WR its the cart before the house.
Whats the point of WR if you QB is getting killed and how many times did Jeanty get hit behind the los last year?

Pregnon is a plug starter at LG from day one.

They can go defense the reat of the way. Idc
Maybe pick Orange in the 3rd or move up some for him.

of course you have the med staff look into it beforehand , if he checks out he has to be near the top of the list...the talent level is huge for the kid if he checks out and cb is a PREMIUM position

By bringing in the fact that Pregnon also attended Oregon (as did JPJ), I knew I left myself open to the "went to the same school argument" but I made it anyway -- just because. JPJ may not even be on the team in a year or so. Anyway, Pregnon does look good on the film -- great balance and strong as hell. I am fine with that pick. I mean, we think Meredith is suddenly going to become a great guard? I still don't want to use such a high pick on a WR and anyway Boston does not have elite speed. I will take my chances with Thornton who is big and does have elite speed. So offensive or defensive lineman in round two please.

Alec Pierce got 30 million, WR is definitely a PREMIUM position

If no Boston at 36, which I don't think we'll take him there, then maybe Ja'Kobi Lane or Malachi Fields in subsequent rounds. Both are X-type WRs that can be had later on.

Hoping for Boston, McDonald or Miller.

49ers reportedly very open to trading back from 33. What's cost to move up 4 spots in the 2nd? A 4th and the 60 yard FG should do it.

Hoping for another WR in the 2nd round again?
