Yeah not understanding the hate on this oneFLORIDARAYDAH wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 10:03 am Who is to say we didn't put him out there? Just because someone wants to look at him for free doesn't mean they were willing to give up anything to get him
Yeah, because on a weak defense the 4th leading tackler gets cut cuz he's not one of Peeties boys.
Maybe, 4th leading tackler or not, he was being an A-hole, we don't know. Coaches are paid to rule over the team. Of course, they have to do it with a strategic plan, good communication, etc. We don't have any idea what is it like in the locker room or practice field. But, if the report is true that the locker room is fine with cutting him, whose side are you on? Why are you blaming the coach?raider_kin wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 5:04 pm Yeah, because on a weak defense the 4th leading tackler gets cut cuz he's not one of Peeties boys.
He got way too much for a LB!heavyD wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 6:11 am Spillane wasn't great but we are finding out that the new regime should have maybe tried a little harder to keep him.
So he wasn't buying in and was becoming or was a cancer in the locker room. Also the 4th leading tackler on a weak defense isn't exactly worth bragging about. If dude was so good and in demand, someone would've traded for him before he was a fa just to secure his rights. Instead every single team, including the 4 that contacted him after he was cut, we're willing to take a chance on him signing elsewhereraider_kin wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 5:04 pm Yeah, because on a weak defense the 4th leading tackler gets cut cuz he's not one of Peeties boys.
Hondo is the mouthpiece for the owner. The Real CK wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 11:46 am Hondo is a mouthpiece for the team.
Both Cooper and Pratt wanted out. Not a good sign for a supposed player coach.
I liked him coming out of college (an avid UK homer here) but he’s regressed. Low risk signing.
He's saying Pratt was a good player, so his departure wasn't for playing-related reasons.
We're paying Pratt regardless. When you cut a player he can take pennies to play for a winner. The colts gave him a 1.17 mill raiseSir Raider Duck, OMS wrote: Thu Oct 09, 2025 10:42 am So I just checked Spotrac. Pratt's new Colts contract ($1.17 M) is just over a quarter of what he was making here ($4.26 M). Possibly another reason we didn't/couldn't trade him.
He is saying this coaching staff has its head up its ass
