As for clearing waivers, neither player has to clear waivers this time of year because they are vested veterans with more than 4 years of service. Neither player can officially be cut or sign with another team until FA officially starts because the guaranteed salary they have can't hit the cap until the new league year. We don't have any cap room in the 2024 league year to cover the immediate cap hit of that guaranteed money.[/quote]This is awesome.

I remember several members saying James was garbage going back a couple of years. There of course were several members calling them out and using his PFF grade as evidence that he was really good.

James is alright. IIRC, he was supposed to be stopgap until we found someone better, but he was just good enough for us to ignore the position because we had greater needs. Then he became a 4 or 5 year stopgap center.
